She is so pretty...
Over-All Appearance: Blue is a rather frail girl, only 4'11" and very thin; she's always been too short for her own good, with no chest or hips (a source of some mild frustration). This, however, only seems to add to her childlike image -- she looks more like a living doll than a 15-year-old girl. She's more cute than pretty, really... and average certainly does not apply to her, in any way, shape, or form.
Pale skin, red lips, brown eyes -- Blue's face is full of sharp contrasts, interesting features that are not at all considered "pretty", but together form a strangely lovely little girl. She has a round face, a "baby face", with round, wide brown eyes framed by curled black lashes. Her hair bright red, occasionally looking more brown in dim light, and ends just past her shoulders. Depending on the day, she may curl it, straighten it, or tie it up in ribbons.
Style: Blue's an old-fashioned girl with rather refined, Victorian-style tastes. She likes clothes that are elegant and child-like, petticoats and corsets and the like. She's very modest, as well -- form-fitting skinny jeans, tummy-exposing shirts, and revealed bra straps are most definitely not for her, and she always makes sure to be well-covered, even in the summer. She doesn't particularly like pants, except for perhaps while asleep, and can usually be found in the most feminine of skirts.

Personality Overview: Blue's personality is just as average as her appearance.
She's more old-fashioned, really, a girl that doesn't quite get things such as cell phones and video games (some of her friends back home are known to say that she should have been born back in the 19th century instead of the end of the 20th!). She can usually be found doing quiet activities in her room; sewing, reading, or tending to her window boxes. This isn't to say she's exempt from technology. Blue does have a cell phone -- she just has no idea how to work most of it's features. She can call people and text and that's about it. Basically, when it comes to things like computers, she has no idea how to do anything, and if she can email, that's all she needs.
People may see Blue as shy, but this isn't true. She's quiet, yes, but she's certainly not shy. She'll speak her mind without regards to who it might affect... but she'll do it in a polite way. Most of the time, she's extra-formal in her speech. And she wouldn't dare tell someone that their outfit is horrible; she might, however, ask them what brought them to choose such a strange-looking ensemble for the day and do they know just what it looks like on them.
As Blue's style of dress shows, she has a love of most things cute and feminine. Stuffed animals adorn her room, and she'd rather be baking or sewing than running around outside or playing sports. She's vehemently opposed to gym class (especially being forced to change, since the locker room isn't so fun when your breasts are only big enough to fill a training bra...) and hates physical activity in any way -- except dancing; she took dance classes when she was younger and still likes to dance once in awhile.
These are all things that we can probably guess about Blue by looking at her -- what may come as a surprise is her fascination with the occult, with all things grisly and morbid. Her biggest quirk. Murder mysteries, horror movies, slasher flicks. She has an odd sort of love for these morbid things, and despite the fact that she gets mediocre grades, she has a brilliant mind for mysteries; most of the time, she can predict the outcome of a mystery novel half-way through.

Character Time-Line: October 9th, 1993. Bluebell Marie Tian is born to Minh and Canh Tien, a pair of Vietnamese immigrants in Seattle. She has a twin sister, Lynne, but they are born several weeks premature and Lynne dies shortly after birth. Blue has no knowledge of this twin; her parents have never told her.
September 10th, 1997. Blue begins going to school. On her first day, she remains mainly secluded from the other students and doesn't appear to have much of a preference for anything in particular. This behavior continues most of the year.
January 15th, 1998. Blue's teacher decides to send her to the school psychologist for evaluation. In particular, he notes a fascination with the occult and very eccentric behavior. He tells Blue's parents that she shows odd symptoms that can be linked with psycological disorders, but he's unable to confirm anything at such a young age. Blue is moved to a class for mentally disabled and disturbed children, but fares no better.
Febbruary 20th, 2008. Blue's grandmother dies of natural causes; she was apparently an eccentric old woman, but as Blue learned, she was also very wealthy, and she left all of her money to her only son -- Blue's father. Almost overnight, the Tian family gained thousands and thousands of dollars, and Mr. Tian decided that it should go into his daughter's education.
October 1st, 2008. The decision is made -- Blue will transfer to Alliance Prep to continue her schooling. Her parents think it would be good for her to meet a new group of students and possibly socialize and make friends.
Blue's just happy to get out of that insane family -- finally, she'll be left alone!
