Setting: Three Years After Naraku's Death...
Not yet out of the Warring State's period, several clans are seeking control of many provinces of Japan, but none have yet to gain any strong footing. Mankind has since been silent about their dealings with Naraku and the other Yôkai. Yet still, the yokai taijiya fight strong to exterminate them, thus leaving the fate of man and Yôkai alike in the balance. Some of the Daiyôkai's have started to come together in small meetings to muse on their plans for survival and some have even mentioned war on mankind.
With warlords of man and Yôkai fixated on one another, a threat unseen by many has been looming over Feudal Japan. The remnants of Magatsuhi; yokai who have spawned from his essence whilst in the jewel, who escaped undetected from the Shikon no Tama when Inuyasha opened a path into it. Many have surfaced in spirit form, taking powerful demons that have emerged from the underworld (when Sesshômaru-sama opened a path into it), while others have manifested physically and have been in hiding for many years.
Seeing how easily human and Yôkai are to corrupt, these superior yokai have several options before them. As Japan's Sengoku Jidai era enters its most disasterous chapter, only two questions remain: Who will be swept away and ultimately die? In whose hands will Japan's fate lie in? That of mankind or the Yôkai.
One thing is for certain. Only time will tell..
