Newport (Located in Orange County, California) is home to a very diverse set of people, diverse meaning they are all basically rich and snobby and there is no diversity whats so ever. However within California's most rich and powerful are handfuls of amazing human beings.
The schools are just as bad as the adults worlds, they are filled with your typical high school students, some are popular some are not, most are rich some are not. Some are very snobby and cruel...some aren't, but again you find those who are good people, either if its on the outside or deep deep down.
It has been almost 7 months since Marissa Cooper was killed in a car accident. Can everyone get over it? It seems they can, Ryan is looking at Taylor in a whole new way and Summer (Marissa's best friend) hardly seems to talk about it. Julie and Kailtin (Marissa's family) seem to be getting over it aswell. But are they really, can they all get over the loss of a loved one that qucikly. Summer is in Brown University, Seth and Ryan still live in Newport. Kirsten and Sandy are still happly married, Julie and Kaitlin live in Dr. Roberts home with Taylor. New drama is on the horizon.
One thing is for certain...the OC is full of drama, and if you want Backstabbings, Sex, Drugs, Alchohol, Addictions, Love, Friendship, Betrayal and over all DRAMA...this is the site for you.
