Perfect Rhythm
Music is always a good way out of anything anyone could desire.
Angry? Turn up the music. Sad? Turn up the music. Happy? Turn up the music. Anything? Turn up the music.
Music works wonders, plain and simple. In a city called "Rhythm," music is all that matters. People go in to learn, and leave once they've been taught. Bands play every night, parties carry on till the sun comes up, and there is always a light on somewhere.Get used to the cigarette smoke, the filth, and the constant noise. People do come here to learn about music, but they don't really leave when they've learned; they're stuck. The only way out is through music. You gotta make your name big. It's just that, that no one ever does that, no one can get out once in.
Some have given up hope, some still try. End the end, you won't make it, so don't bother. You'll never be famous, you'll never be rich, and you might not even live to see tommorow.
Welcome to Rhythm, the city of music, the city of false hope, and the city of nothing.

Centuries ago there were five great enchanters. Aries, Castor, Pollux, Scorpius, and Leo. They made five objects of enormous power, known as relics.
For centuries the Great Divide has been sufficient to separate the northern lands of Banyuk from the southern lands of Satus. But now envy, hate, myth, and suspicion cross this physical boundary and the nations are on the verge of war.
Tempted by rich rewards, self greed, and perhaps benevolence, treasure hunters and adventurers of all kinds are racing to claim the Relics. All able-bodied men are being drafted into the armies of their nations, being forced to leave their loved ones and families behind.
The elves remain secluded in the far west, in their forest and mountain temple, as the land around them deteriorates. The dwarfs pursue their own mysterious agenda as they emerge from millenniums of isolation.
Demons are emerging from their haunts to terrorize the land and creatures of benevolent will try vainly to fight them back. Innocent blood is spilled deadly and citizens of all lands are cast in fear, suspicion, and doubt.
In this land of darkness, what will your path be? Will you hope for the times to change? Will you fight? Or, like many others, will you search for the truth?
After the defeat of Organization XIII, Kingdom Heart’s strongest Nobodies, Sora and crew put their weapons at rest and resolve to spend their much needed vacation with little interruption. However, as he left each of the worlds for a final time... A new threat arose on the worlds. Darkness stirs in worlds and people’s hearts, and danger arises to once again call on keyblade and its master. Old faces rise, fatigue, failure still fresh in their minds, but revenge burned heavy in their chest. New and unfamiliar faces emerge, ready to tear apart the seams of the worlds that Sora and his friends had so carefully stitched back together.
Who are you? Warrior, magician, or guardian? Will you join these new evils, aid the old dangers, or assist Sora in his fight to restore the worlds?

Evernight Academy [brand new; need canons!] « Result #5 on Apr 5, 2009, 7:58pm »
Bianca Olivier is a sixteen year old girl, now living at Evernight Academy with her parents, who took jobs as teachers at the academy. The young girl knows she doesn't belong here, but her parents keep insisting that she will come around, that Bianca will fit in and see that everything will turn out for the better. Bianca doesn't want what her parents feel is "good for her", she believes that her parents don't know what is right for her. The young girl decides that she is going to run away from the academy and head back to her home town, where all of her friends are at and where she feels that she fits in.
As Bianca tries to make her way through the forest, she see's someone else within the shadow's of the trees; she starts to run, but little does she know, the man is faster and catches up to her, tackling her to the ground. After finding out that it was all a misunderstanding, Bianca comes to meet a new student just like her name Lucas Ross, a human student attending Evernight Academy. The little time they got to spend with one another, Bianca felt a connection with Lucas.
Little did Bianca or the rest of the academy knew that there was something else different about Lucas; the young boy belonged to a group called Black Cross, a bunch of vampire hunters out to destroy all vampires in the world. Lucas was sent to Evernight in order to figure out why Mrs. Bethany was allowing human students to attend the academy after so many decades of it only being opened to vampires and only them.
* * *
Evernight Academy was built as a sanctuary for vampires, a place where they could come to be with their fellow vampires and become up-to-date with the world around them. Mrs. Bethany, the headmistress, has now decided to allow human students to attend the academy. Many of the vampires do not like this change at all and most won't even acknowledge the humans at all. This change to the academy can either become a disaster or it could be a change for the better.
Lucas Ross believes Bianca to be a mere human just like himself and others attending the academy. He knows that her parents are vampires and believe they kidnapped her to have her has their own child. But little does Lucas know that Bianca is in fact a vampire, or at least, almost a one; born to two vampires.
How will you join this academy? Be the "Evernight Academy type", such as a vampire and not care for the humans around you, or will you be a mere human that has been accepted into the academy, where you know things are not right. Or will you be in the Black Cross; out to destroy all vampires, no matter who they are?

Morgan Parish, age 16, was found dead on the floor of her family's home that night after coming home from her therapy session with Dr. Richard Ollin. Dr. Ollin shot himself the next day, and a memorial was erected in the center of the city to commemorate him and his countless contributions to the city in the field of psychiatric care.
Welcome to Angrid.
There are no vampires in Angrid, no werewolves, no deranged men in masks looking to knock off as many people as they can with a chainsaw because they were abused as children. All of these come with ready explanation, however detached from the general perception of reality they are. What happens in Angrid cannot be explained.
Some refer to it as a presence, some call it evil, but whatever it is, it has the people of Angrid living in constant fear that they or someone they love will be the next to die. These are not natural deaths, though the authority in Angrid will tell you otherwise. A series of unfortunate and bizarre accidents account for the high death rate in the town, they say.
Black tongues speak faster than the car can crash You supply the rumours And I'll provide the wrath
There are people who say they can see the future, and then there are the people of Angrid who are subject to fantastical visions of their death in its entirety. In this town, trust does not exist and most stand alone to face their fate and the things that go bump in the night. The visions remain unspoken among families in which children fear being sent to the asylum if they confess what they see to their parents. It is a culture of constant terror, a culture of unadulterated fear, a culture that needs change.
There is a mutual agreement among the adults that life should be carried on as normal- a feat easier for those who have yet to be affected by tragedy, but a feat all aspire to achieve. Some are more skeptical than others when it comes to the policy, but what choice do they have? If it wasn't for the tiny bit of order they forced down their children's throats, Angrid would be a wasteland of chaos. No need to go about losing one's head when it might very well be severed off that night, right?
Romance is breaking every heart in two Casting shadows in the pale shade of blue
As if this wasn't enough for the citizens to deal with, a new discovery has rippled throughout the community ever since Richard Ollin's death. It seems the dead have a habit of coming back. What to do about this, no one knows, but the Police Department has begun issuing a new series of policies for the town to follow in regards to curfew, school schedules, and nightly patrols of the streets, though the reasons for these changes remain unsaid.
And policy isn't the only thing changing around Angrid. Dr. Ollin's prodigal son has taken up his father's position at the asylum, and though he lacks the tenure and classical approach his father had when it came to psychiatric care, the new Dr. Ollin has some revolutionary ideas that he would like to share with you. Stop by his office for a therapy session, and he'll give you some recommendations that are sure to blow your mind... His methods have earned him the undying approval of some and the resentment of others.
Another point of resentment harbored by the citizens is that Angrid is slowly becoming a tourist attraction in itself. Sadistic people are drawn in by the stories, and the allure of living in a town of the living dead is irresistible to the same people who venture to haunted houses for the adreniline rush. But unlike these other ventures, the stories of Angrid are real- which proved to be startling for some and the horrific fix the other's crave. But whether you like it or not, once you get into Angrid, it's very hard to get out.
If there is a future for Angrid it lies with the children. They who are the only ones who don't shy away from the horrible truths that rot at the core of the city. Alone they are insignificant, but together they may be able to stride in the direction of change, that is if their nightmares don't get them first.
Fate changes faster than the death of light You supply the envy And I'll provide the spite
Angrid is the shadowy region where the FANTASTIC, the DEMONIC and the INSANE reside.
Flowers have come and gone but education and money alike have survived centuries of torment in Tokyo, Japan. CHEER TRYOUTS} open! « Result #9 on Mar 13, 2009, 8:27pm »
This was the day Alexis dreaded, yet was excited for. Cheerleading tryouts, of course. She was dreading it because she really didn't wish to sit and watch some stupid girls try to make it onto the squad, but at the same time she was excited to finally establish her own cheer squad with her as the captain. Not co-captain. Captain. It was so exciting, and the first thing Alexis did when she woke up was get ready for the big event. She spent her whole day in the mat room working on her cartwheels, her toe touches, and the ever important back handspring.
After a full day of practice, Alexis was still pumped and fully alert. A few hours after her practice she got into the mood, and got redressed, sprinting back to the mat room in the gym. As usual, she made sure she would outshine any girl who came into audition. Her natural loose curls were pulled back into a neat tight, high ponytail. Her bangs were clipped back and she was in the navy blue and white cheer uniform, which she had customed designed and ordered. While watching a throng of amature girls try to cheer was sure to be boring, Alexis was excited. This was was her squad with her rules.
Dropping her bag onto the empty chair next to her, Alexis sat at the rectangular wooden table at the front of the gym, not very far from the mats. She had her clip board, pen, and "cheer face" on. She took a deep breath and smiled the cheeriest smile she could. Today was gonna be a long day, but it was totally worth it.

City society has always been the ring leader of how people live their lives. In ever big city, your status is what gets you to the places you need to be. But when imperfection leaks into all mighty high tops, the families perfect bloodlines are run down and given a different stake to compete at. The city of Las Vegas is alike, and differs from any city. It has it’s big city dream people, and then those who were born here and can’t wait to high tail it out to some where else. It’s been run by the big business corporations and entertainment venues for years. But now, with the younger stage of control, things can get a little messy. You don’t know who your friends are until you find your enemies. It’s all just like a reckless lullaby. The lyrics are erratic and disturbing to the ears, but you keep listening because you want to know how it ends. But we’re far from the end. Oh no. This is just the beginning.
